Don't forget about Ubuntu as I have found it to be the "easiest" distro 
for normal use and I think that's mainly because the support for the 
distro is pretty darn good. Then, if you want ease and flexibility go 
with either MythDora (this distro is too controlled for me, I need more 
options because I enjoy screwing things up so I have to fix them) and 
then, there is the always popular (and my personal favorite) .:Fedora
