This is an extremely important issue that's being overlooked by many posters. 
I have no recent experience with JFS on x86-64, but two years ago it was 
extremely unreliable (to the point of unusability) on that platform, although 
it was good enough for at least casual tests on 32-bit x86 systems (for 
non-Myth purposes, anyhow). My point isn't that JFS is currently unreliable 
on x86-64, just that filesystems (and other kernel features and programs) do 
vary significantly in reliability and functionality from one platform to 
another. When discussing filesystems, IMHO it's imperative that the platform 
be mentioned, otherwise the information is next to useless.
