Thanks Scott. I am waiting for my new card to arrive, hoping all will be well.
I'm in rural San Diego county, using Cox cable. Since I'm not the subscriber, 
but only sharing it with the landlord, I'm hoping he'll work with me to get 
what I need, which isn't much.
I appreciate all your input.
