I too have comcast and refuse to pay that fee for digital so just have
their $55 extended basic package and their $45 HSI. I don't live in MA
but in my area most (I do not get NBC HD) of the local HD channels are
unencrypted and I pick them up on my sony tv with builtin digital
tuner.
