[mythtv-users] I don't want to record ANY live TV. Setting?

Modify your LiveTV menu item in myth to launch an external viewer  
like xawtv or something like that.

There's an example at the bottom for launching an external  
application like this:
EXECTV someprogram %s %s %s - Executes a TV program. %s args are  
video, audio, and vbi devices
Example: EXECTV xawtv -f -device %s -dspdev %s -vbidev %s
