Hi,
Today out of the blue mythfrontend started causing problems for me. As
soon as mythfrontend runs x windows will crash and restart. Using
mythfrontend -v all has the last output before this happens as
2007-02-27 18:19:09.090 MSqlQuery: SELECT data FROM settings WHERE value
= 'MenuTheme' AND hostname = 'freevo' ;
2007-02-27 18:19:09.090 MSqlQuery: SELECT data FROM settings WHERE value
= 'QtFontBig' AND hostname = 'freevo' ;
2007-02-27 18:19:09.090 MSqlQuery: SELECT data FROM settings WHERE value
= 'QtFontMedium' AND hostname = 'freevo' ;
2007-02-27 18:19:09.090 MSqlQuery: SELECT data FROM settings WHERE value
= 'QtFontSmall' AND hostname = 'freevo' ;
If I run without -v then the last output is:
2007-02-27 18:22:46.004 Total desktop dim: 1360x768, with 1 screen[s].
2007-02-27 18:22:46.005 Using screen 0, 1360x768 at 0,0
2007-02-27 18:22:46.006 Switching to wide mode (MePo-wide)
mythfrontend: Fatal IO error: client killed
Mutex destroy failure: Device or resource busy
Nothing is appearing in any of the system logs.
This all started earlier today when a show failed to record. The
recording produced an empty file. I unloaded and reloaded the ivtv
driver with no luck. I then updated with Yum updating the following
packages:
nspr.i386 4.6.5-0.6.0.fc6
bind-libs.i386 31:9.3.4-3.fc6
audit-libs.i386 1.4.2-2.fc6
nss.i386 3.11.5-0.6.0.fc6
firefox.i386 1.5.0.10-1.fc6
bind.i386 31:9.3.4-3.fc6
xorg-x11-server-Xorg.i386 1.1.1-47.6.fc6
gnome-python2-extras.i386 2.14.2-9.fc6
crontabs.noarch 1.10-12.fc6
bind-utils.i386 31:9.3.4-3.fc6
xorg-x11-server-sdk.i386 1.1.1-47.6.fc6
gnome-python2-gtkhtml2.i386 2.14.2-9.fc6
vixie-cron.i386 4:4.1-68.fc6
tzdata.noarch 2007c-1.fc6
audit-libs-python.i386 1.4.2-2.fc6
caching-nameserver.i386 31:9.3.4-3.fc6
I am using suse 10.2 with the latest SVN.
I am unsure if the problem was started because of the Yum updates or
something else.
Anyone have any idea what I can do in order to resolve this or figure
out what might be causing it?
Thanks
