That's more or less what I'm trying to work on. Classes start on  
Wednesday so I'm running around trying to get books and get paperwork  
straightened out etc. Considering it's been 35 years since I attended  
any class I'm a bit out of practice :-)

I think I have figured out the procedure: If you can figure out the  
registration system you get an automatic graduate degree because you  
must be some sort of genius.

Another interesting discussion is *why* 50/52 and 72/75 ohms are  
standard impedances for coax systems (there really are reasons),  
perhaps we'll get around to that subject in time.

I agree. It's a high-traffic list with a lot of "noise" but worth it  
to read because a lot of interesting folks are here.
