Hey Guys,

Quick specs
mandrake 10.0 box.
Started life as mythtv 0.13 back in the day was running mythtv 0.16 for a
long time (till just 3 days ago). Upgraded to mythtv0.20 which required I
manually compile qt3.3.7 which required msyql 5.0.27, latest php and apache
and a few dependancies along the way. Myth 0.20 finally compiled and
installed after much frustration.

I rebooted and everything looks fine except I can no longer record anything.
I have PVR cards. One 250 and one 350.
If I "cat /dev/video0 > test.mpg" it works just fine and I can even open up
a window and "mplayer test.mpg" and watch it while it records. Same for
/dev/video1. Both capture video just fine.

Myth however does not like my cards any more. Backend says this
2007-01-12 22:56:56.465 MainServer::HandleAnnounce Monitor

And the frontend has this:

Could it be the latest version of mythtv does not like my old version of
IVTV? I think it's version 0.19. Like I said this box has been up and
running since mythtv 0.13.

It does not appear to be permissions as I did the cat /dev/videoX tests as
my myth user, not root.

Thanks for any pointers
Malcolm
