[mythtv-users] Mythtv 0.19 crashes when I play (very) widescreen images

I'm currently running mythtv 0.19 - debian packages from the main mythtv
debian site. I haven't upgraded to 0.20 yet, but i'll likely do that
sometime soon, depending on my timelines, and a 0.21 release <GRIN>

But, anyways, back to the point.

I've got a dual head nvidia system (nvidia 8762 drivers), each LCD is
running at 1280x1024. Mythtv is currently running in a window
(1000x600), although i've got the same problem upstairs on my frontend
system with a regular 4x3 TV.

I noticed a similar old thread a while back where the user was told to
try running mythfrontend with a verbose debugging option, so i've done
the same:

I created the file in question using mencoder and can convert other
2.30:1 movies some other way if people have a better suggestion for
settings/resolution etc..

Any movies I chopped down to 1.78:1 work fine, and they all play fine in
mplayer or xine.

Thanks,
James
