[mythtv-users] Stuttering sound on playback of fade-outs

A couple of times in the past week or so now I've noticed stuttering
sound when playing back white text/image-on-black fade-ins & outs, usually
on ad-break boundaries.

I'd written it off as dodgy DVB-T reception, but one I noticed last night
happened to be one I wanted to export using nuvexport, and I note that the
AVI it's generated is clean, so it's not a problem with the source (UK DVB-T
from a Nova-T).

I'll check out how mplayer off my main PC copes, but the only thing I've
changed recently is using a new HDTV via a PC video cable instead of s-video
(same nVidia card), and so am now on ~1300x768 (whatever the norm. is) and
not 1024x768. Plus I've enabled de-interlacing. I believe I've always had
the 'extra audio buffer' option enabled.

Any thoughts on what to fiddle with next (barring testing diff/no.
de-interlacing)?
