Duane, I'll put a page up on the Wiki documenting how I got the knob
and remote to act as a directional instead of a cursor. Both are
simple enough.

The IR is non-standard, but like I mention, any good learning remote
should work (Harmony, MX-500, One-For-All, etc).

You can resolve the cd drive scraping sound with some tape.
