OK, then you need to set up a dual-head.  You have to use the PCI BusID 
option in your Xorg.conf file (unless you're doing that already).  Also 
make sure you include Option "ProbeAllGpus" "false" in your device section.

That should at least get rid of the "greedy nvidia" conflict I had.
