I have two EPIA systems and two solutions.

First is a selfmade system which had the off the box screamer, I 
replaced this with an either 60mm or 80mm fan driven of the cover pins 
those are standard. The processor pins are not used. Remarkable 
difference because for that line it is easy to limit the fan speed with 
some aftermarket speed controls and the flow will be more than enough.

Second is a factory made HUSH system which is passive with heatpipes to 
the cover sides. Only the harddisk makes any noise. Very silent...
