I usually use Mythdora but I will give Mythbuntu a try and see if it
fixes my XvMC and Mux A problem.  I had tried running with the trunk
version a couple of months ago to see if that fixed any of the
problems and it didn't.

I notice you say the DVB cards are not detected is there a page
explaining what you need to do or is it just the case of running "sudo
modprob saa7134_dvb"?

Thanks I will report back I have always wondered if there was an
Ubunutu distro of MythTV :)
