Dear all,

I've just installed a PVR-350 on an Ubuntu Feisty system. The tuner
seemed to work without any further driver install.

I installed MythTV without any major problems. I ran MythTV-Setup and selected:

Capture Card Settings: MPEG-2 encoder card (PVR-x50, PVR-500) on /dev/video0

Which probed to be a PVR-350 [ivtv]

And I'm using the Default Input: Tuner 1

Video Source Setup:

XMLTV listings grabber: Transmitted guide only (EIT)

And select the channel frequency table of: europe-west

It only finds channels: 39,53,57,60, 63 and does not name them. Next
door I have a freeview box, connected to the same aeriel, and it
collects all the channels happily.

I then quit the setup, and it asks to run 'mythfilldatabase' and has a
problem connecting to the backend. So I manually run the command in
terminal and it produced:

When running the mythtv, I can watch tv, but I'm stuck with 1
recording and can't swap chans. I also can't get a listing of any
channel.

What I'd like to be able to do is: scan all the freeview channels and
have a guide with suitable info to do some recordings.

I did do a brief search of the archive, and I couldn't find anything.
If you know of a post, it'd be great to have a link!

Thanks all,
Ben
