[mythtv-users] does setpci latency_timer fail on some mobos?

I have seen reports here of motherboards that apparently do not allow
the setting of PCI latency, or at least the reported latency value does
not change. I seem to recall that at least some of these were
VIA-chip-based boards, but I could be wrong on that.
