Excellent, glad to hear it works for you.

I am a bit fed up myself :-) as I have  a nice new 22" 1680x 1050 
monitor, but as it only displays at 60Hz, I am suffering from the 
60Hz/50Hz problem, so even though I don't drop frames anymore, I get a 
juddering picture.

If you get anywhere with fixing Myth natively, It will come in handy for 
when I replace my SD tv with an HD one :-). And as
always its the challenge that counts. I dont have time to watch Tv 
anyway as I am always fiddling with Mythtv :-))
