[mythtv-users] PVR 500 samsung tuners

I had the same issues and just about tore my hair out trying to fix it. 
My advice is to contact Hauppauge. I told them flat out what the problem 
was and that I knew the older version of the card with the philips 
tuners worked fine and they set me up with an RMA. That would be my 
suggestion. After I got the new card everything worked like a charm with 
no additional tinkering on my part.
