Make sure you have all the new kernel info.

You can try to upgrade the ivtv-firmware with:
yum -y install ivtv-firmware
yum -y install ivtv-kmdl-`uname -r`.`uname -m`
yum -y install ivtvdev
yum -y install ivtv_xdriver
yum -y install video4linux-kmdl-`uname -r`.`uname -m`

I have to run this on my Fedora system with a PVR-350 when ever the
Kernel gets upgraded.

for LIRC run:
yum -y install lirc-kmdl-`uname -r`.`uname -m`
yum -y install lirc
