My money is on the xorg.conf file, I'm not an X user so am lost in this
area. I'll look around to see if I can find a sample that might get me
When rebooting nothing shows on the TV screen (I'm using s-video to the TV).
There is a slight flicker on the TV monitor so I know there's a connection,
but nothing but black on the screen.
Here is my xorg.conf
# Xorg configuration created by pyxf86config
Identifier "Default Layout"
Screen 0 "Screen0" 0 0
InputDevice "Keyboard0" "CoreKeyboard"
Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
Option "XkbLayout" "us"
# TV Out Setup
Option "TVStandard" "NTSC-M"
Option "TVOutFormat" "SVIDEO"
