Does anyone have an idea of how the IR LEDs are wired to the 1/8" jacks?
As far as I can see the sockets on the back of the box have the load
resistors in so I guess its just the IR diode itself in the housing at the
end...

My pvr150 came with a mceusb2 compatible remote (Philips eHome) but it
didn't come with any IR blasters so now that 0.8.1 supports the
transmitters I'd like to make some.

It would certainly make life easier than having to run a serial port
version of lirc beside the usb one to drive the blaster as I'm doing at
the moment.
