[mythtv-users] Error was encountered while displaying video

Okay, let me restate quoting some seeming similar threads. A lot of
people are having this problem as far back as early 2006. The first

To Ben, I do have a pcHDTV HD-5500 card which is think is considered
a DVB card to MythTV. (Sorry, I forgot to add my configuration to my
previous email.)
Does anyone know the current solution or status of this problem as of
mid-March 2007?

MythTV version: 0.20.20060828-3.
Installed on Fedora Core 6 following Jerod's guide.
Kernel version: 2.6.19-1.2911.fc6.i686
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.2GHz Socket 775 800 FSB w/Hyper
ThreadingTechnology turned off
Memory: 512MB DDR 333 Memory 180 Pin (Major Brand)
Motherboard: ASRock 775i65G Mother Board
Optical Drive: LG 18X DVD RW + Dual Layer
Hard Drive: Western Digital 250GB 7200RPM 8MB Cache Serial ATA
Video onboard: Integrated SiS Ultra256 2D/3D Graphics
Video card: Micro-star International (MSI) AGP GeForce FX5200-
TD128LF, 8X, 128M, DDR1, D-Sub, DVI-D, TV-out
Audio onboard: AUDIO ADI AD1888 6-channel audio CODEC
Audio card: Riviera C-Media CMI 8738 (I intend to connect optical out
to entertainment center)
Network Card: Onboard 10/100 Network Card
Tuner card: pcHDTV HD-5500
