[mythtv-users] Went from 480x480 to 720x480 then no sound

My mistake, I meant MythArchive, the tool used to burn recordings onto a
DVD, not DVDArchive.  When I said it went from .5-3 hours down to 30
minutes, I meant that it takes much less time to run, since it doesn't
have to use ffmpeg to transcode the video to a DVD-compatible resolution.

This is a big deal to me, because I don't generally watch recordings on
the backend computer, so I usually need to burn them to disk to watch
them on another computer.  The problem is, usually when I try to run
MythArchive and ffmpeg runs while MythTV is also trying to record, my
server often locks up cold.  Since MythArchive doesn't have any kind of
time delay, I can only burn DVDs when I'm home from work and there won't
be any recordings for 3 or more hours!

Getting back on topic, when you record at a DVD-compatible resolution
(eg 720x480), MythArchive offers to no reencode with ffmpeg.  I have a
feeling that not reencoding is what's losing the audio somehow, but I
would like some feedback on (1) is that possible, and (2) is there a way
of fixing the problem while not taking several hours to run ffmpeg.
