Just a wild stab: Check your recording options for the show. If it's set 
to "Record in this timeslot every day," change it to something else, such 
as "Record at any time on this channel." I don't know the details of how 
the "in this timeslot" option works, but it could be that it's getting 
confused by the variable start time. Also, check the priorities list to be 
sure you don't have two rules set that match the same show. (One might be set 
for an "in this timeslot" recording while the other one uses another option.)
