Yes, very bad marketing. It looks like an MS presentation. Perhaps it  
really is, and they hope folks will get frustrated and disappointed  
and go buy MS MCE.

No, just legal. If that video was made in the USA advocating DVD rips  
could be construed as aiding and abetting violation of the DMCA.
