[mythtv-users] MythTV and Plextor PX-TV402U and the inability to change channels

Just in case this is not possible to diagnose and fix without every 
single little detail of my configuration,
is there a good working installation which is known to work?
It 'only' needs to support the Plextor PX-RV402U and work in Japan (I've 
got the japanese model and I do live in Japan).
