[mythtv-users] frontend freeze on "audio waiting for space on soundcard"

Hi guys

While troubleshooting a fronted lockup/freeze problem I enabled logging
with the following command.
>mythfrontend  -v all -l /var/log/mythtv/frontend.log

I seem to be getting a lot of the following messages.

Is this normal?
Is the frontend just syncing up audio with video, or have I got an
unoptimized sound system
when the front end freezes I get the following

Have I got a sound card config problem and is this causing the frontend
to lockup

by the way this is a DVB-T UK based front end running myth 0.20 on suse 10.2
