It is indeed weird. I think I'll just reinstall the sound related bits
from the guide and see how I get on. I found out how she rebooted, used
the "big red button". On the IBM server I have as the Myth box that
means holding the power button in for at least 10 seconds. I suspect
something didn't like that.
Oliver, I thought the same thing and I tried rebooting again...and
again... but no joy.
