[mythtv-users] Random mythbackend exits

Hi all,

Everything has been purring along with minimal issues for a month or so.
Then I added a 2nd frontend and changed my backend's hostname. Ever since, I
have had a problem with mythbackend dying at what seems to be random times.
One would think this might be related to changing my hostname, but
everything seems to run fine up to the point where the service dies. I'm not
seeing anything that looks greatly alarming in the logs at the time of the
failure. This has happened about 5 times in the past week. The only common
thing I see currently is that they were both working with my PVR150 card
connected to DirecTV via s-video at the time when it died.

Has anyone seen this before? It sure is annoying to miss show recordings due
to the service being dead. Any suggestions where to look for the problem? I
kind of expected a fatal error to at least put something in the log file.
Pasted below are some snippets of log files for two of the times this has
happened. Note the big time gap on each one. That is when the service died
in both instances.

Thanks in advance for any help you all can provide.

Phil
