Actually, I got the xorg driver & patch to work; I realized that the
numbers in the driver names were just software version names (6.5.8 is
the latest).

After building and installing, I connected a cable between the ATI
card's TV out jack and my TV's input, and lo and behold, I could see
my myth tv machine's boot sequence on the TV screen.

There is another issue with screen resolution to be solved, but I'll
create a new thread with those details.
