Thanks for the responses; think I'll leave well alone :-)
I haven't come across any issues within myth itself (so, for me, it is
self consistent). It's only for the odd scripted bit SQL fiddling, or
myphpadmin (phpmyadmin?) access that weird stuff happens, but I can carry on
living with that.
