Well, that's not strictly true any longer and in the future all hard
drives will look like SCSI under Linux thanks to libata.  The only
thing you have to remember with IDE is one drive per IDE cable.  No
primary/secondary configurations, and everything is just fine.  SATA
makes that explicit, unless you are use SATA port multipliers.
