[mythtv-users] Modify Mythtv behaivoir

I have a friend that is interested in Mythtv.

He currently uses Mediaportal on Windows and does one thing with it.

He has a program grabbing RSS feeds and downloading video content from feeds
like DL.tv, channel federator and other internet TV video RSS feeds.  This
program drops the files in his video directory and they instantly appear on
his "watch videos" section on his current system. He does not have to go
into manage videos and "import" them like mythtv requires.

After watching them he likes to click on a button to delete them.


Is there a way to offer this exact same behavior in Mythtv?  To
automatically have any videos display in the videos section and have a
button (or even a series of keypresses) to delete it after watching it?
