[mythtv-users] Issue with the default sound volume on my PVR-150

I'm sorry for the confusion, but what I went was pre-selected shows to
record. For example Lost last night. I've had Lost set to record every new
episode for a long time now.

I don't think there's anything you can do about programs that are already
recorded. The audio has already been encoded at the lower volume, and
that's why it sounds quieter. The only method of boosting it would be to
decode the audio from the file, and then re-encode it with an increased
gain.

You could use mencoder to do this, but it would be time consuming.
