Sorry for the very *long* delay in replying. Yes, seriously. And my
small problem is that MythArchive doesn't work. Using an OS X
frontend, I get:
**********
May 8 16:53:56 Stella crashdump[367]: mythfrontend crashed
May 8 16:53:57 Stella crashdump[367]: crash report written to: /
Users/piers/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/mythfrontend.crash.log
**********
Opening the log shows:
**********
Host Name: Stella
Date/Time: 2007-05-08 16:53:53.662 +0100
OS Version: 10.4.9 (Build 8P135)
Report Version: 4
Command: mythfrontend
Path: /Applications/MythFrontend.app/Contents/MacOS/mythfrontend
Parent: WindowServer [58]
Version: 0.20.0.svn20061113 (0.20.0.svn20061113)
PID: 365
Thread: Unknown
Link (dyld) error:
Symbol not found: __ZNK11ProgramInfo17GetRecordBasenameEb
Referenced from: /Applications/MythFrontend.app/Contents/Resources/
lib/mythtv/plugins/libmytharchive.dylib
Expected in: flat namespace
**********
Even running the frontend on Linux, I get a crashing problem, after a
very long time trying to start mytharchive. I've ran it with
mythfrontend -v all but there were no crash information. The last
snippet of the log was:
**********
2007-05-08 16:55:36.650 MSqlQuery: SELECT data FROM settings WHERE
value = 'idleTimeoutSecs' AND hostname IS NULL;
2007-05-08 16:55:36.652 MSqlQuery: SELECT data FROM settings WHERE
value = 'MonitorDrives' AND hostname = 'desire' ;
2007-05-08 16:55:36.653 MSqlQuery: SELECT data FROM settings WHERE
value = 'NetworkControlEnabled' AND hostname = 'desire' ;
2007-05-08 16:55:36.657 MSqlQuery: SELECT data FROM settings WHERE
value = 'AllowQuitShutdown' AND hostname = 'desire' ;
2007-05-08 16:56:13.719 MSqlQuery: SELECT data FROM settings WHERE
value = 'Language' AND hostname = 'desire' ;
**********
and then it crashes leaving an output saying just "Killed".
Info about the backend:
