[mythtv-users] Can a backend also be a frontend?

I currently have a single system, a front end and backend all in one box sitting in my living room next to my TV.

However, I also run linux on my desktop upstairs which is also on my network.

Would the first box be able to act as a backend for the second box while still being able to act as a frontend as well?
