While they promise you write capability, remember that it's a relatively
new capability (compared to, i.e. the "tried-and-true" Linux filesystem
drivers)... (In other words, the advice you got about not using NTFS
for the root filesystem is good advice.)
Plus, there's the (basically read-only) driver that has been shipping
with the kernel for a couple of years now.
