Well they have an HD version now, it just doesn't use the N wireless
yet. I have one of these, it's the DSM-520. It even has HDMI output:

I do not use my MythTV install to do HD recording, so I can't say much.
However, it works GREAT for the SD recordings I do use. My guess,
however, is that you would certainly need at least the expanded speeds
of N wireless to stream HD content, otherwise, the 100M ethernet should
be more then enough.

I also have a DSM-320 which is the same basic setup, without the HD

That also doesn't have N, but works great with all of my SD stuff.
