[mythtv-users] Programs no longer recording -- sql rights? Hostname change?

Hi all,

I have had some exciting sucess networking some mythtv systems with one
"minor" drawback.

I can no longer schedule shows. I go through the process of selecting show
in the guide, (one time only, etc) and "save..." and the show doesn't go
into the queue. I can still watch live TV & manually record.

I can still access my previous recordings and via both systems but neither
will record.

I simply enabled nfs file sharing, added * network permisions (for NFS & SQL
network access), I changed each systems hostname file to be unique (ie.
myth-bed instead of local). I also added each systems name to each others
hosts file.

After making said changes mythtv on both systems seemed to work great. I
could access my "videos" & "my recordings" on both systems. BUT I did
notice that during boot time the system would freeze about 2min loading
"sendmail".... I didn't use so i simply ran the command "yum remove
sendmail".... I'm guessing that changing the hostname configureation and/or
SQL permissions are at the root of the probem....

Would someone point me in the right direction?
I'm hoping that it is something simple like modifying a config file to use
my new "host name" when loading SQL.

Thanks,
-Matt
