I rather think it would make a fine SD frontend-only machine. It
looks like it's using the VIA PC2500E motherboard (best guess), which
would use the unichrome video drivers for it's CN700 northbridge.
This MOBO uses the same CN700 and VT8237 chipsets found on several
VIA EPIA MOBO's and mythtv will run on them.
But Brian's right... no way it would do HD, and it wouldn't make a
very good combined frontend-backend, either.
