Like the other poster said irw key recognition is
based on the lircd.conf file. I'd open the lircd.conf
file and look at the two buttons to see if they have
the same code. You can also uses xmode2 to look at the
waveform of each button to make sure they're
different. I'd also try to redo the two buttons in
question with irrecord as you could've accidentally
hit or button or you could've gotten some noise. Just
start irrecord and give it a new file name like
fix.conf and instead of redoing all the buttons just
do the two and you can do them multiple times like
Button1_a, button1_b, etc and then look at the
fix.conf file to see if they match like they should
and shouldn't.
