From the XML feed we can see the next 10 scheduled recordings.  Using
the Python or Perl bindings then you can query all the scheduled
recordings (I believe).

So if the next 10 are okay, then the XML feed will do the job.

Aye, likewise. It also helps with the "hang on, that program is missing"
approach.

I seem to recall seeing something about an RSS feed at one stage, no
mention of that in the Wiki though.

I could add some options to my tool that would only print the upcoming
recordings (optionally only today and tomorrow, or all 10).  Then
sending that as an email would be pretty trivial.
