Looks to me like it will accept HD but convert it to SD. From:

IMPORTANT NOTE: While you can access your HD content in either of these
ways, this HD content does not stream in high definition. Instead, it
uses SlingStream technology to convert the HD video stream into standard
definition, then it compresses the video to match the available network
and Internet bandwidth. In this way, it streams the HD content in high
quality standard definition form.
The Slingbox SOLO, and the Slingbox PRO/HD Connect combination, support
analog downsampling from 480p, 720p, 768p, and 1080i to standard
definition. There is support for either 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratios, based
on user settings, and encode resolutions up to 640x480.
