hi bill,

I too have two dvb1000t's. they were the cheapest card I could find (
now ~$50AUS ) and the antenna passthrough means no splitter is required.
they have performed faultlessly under knoppmyth r5d1.

would you pls elaborate on the "excellent signal strength/etc monitors"
you mention. I find that I get no signal strength indication at all
through the normal mythtv frontend. having said that I have not had any
apparent issues with signal strength.
