That's a great start Scott. I'm going to be off the radar until tomorrow 
afternoon. A proposal just came back and POs need to be written but I am 
eager to get going on this as mentioned in 
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/users/293253#293253

I couldn't code my way out of a box but cabling is a good deal of what I 
do for a living. I don't have Brian's broadcast engineering background 
but I do tear their facilities out and put 'em back together much gooder 
;) It'll be pleasure to help a little this way.

Which brings up a question? What is the wiki owner's (Isaac?) policy on 
jpg's in the wiki? Lot's of pics building up over here...
