I've deleted both my capture cards with the "Delete all" option, then
deleted all channels using the channel scanner and re-scanned. I had to
reconnect my input connections as well.

During this, I also changed [for experimentation's sake] and ticked the
setting for Always under Use Fast Tuning, and de-selected Wait for SEQ,
and ticked Open DVB on demand. The last of these was to make
troubleshooting this easier without shutting the backend down to free
the devices.

In any case, I now get [La_] Partial Lock rather than the [L_S] as
before, but the log error looks the same:

2007-10-08 08:22:26.839 Finished recording Breakfast: channel 2001
2007-10-08 08:22:27.185 Program #14400 not found in PAT!

Any further ideas?

I'm going to see if I can dump the PAT and PMT and have a look. Been a
good few months since I left the job where I had to write these by hand
[for Teleste kit] and it's amazing how quickly one forgets...
