[mythtv-users] XVMC causing green blocky playback

So far so good on the AppleTV front. Installed Xubuntu 7.10, vanilla 2.6.22
patched kernel and working off of the awkwardtv.org forum. 1080i/720p
playback with XMVC, and the remote works.

My problem is that XVMC playback turns blocky green after around 5 minutes
of playback. Sometimes the video will go for an hour, sometimes 5 minutes
but it's almost always within 15 minutes of starting playback. Then
sometimes after that it will lockup the frontend, which goes to a sleeping
state with 99% CPU. I can kill X and it comes back fine again for playback.
Also, when it turns green the myth frontend OSD is still fine and I can go
back/forward. Usually if I leave it playing within a few minutes it turns
back to normal but not for long.

I've tried Nvidia driver 100.14.19, and 3 or 4 of the 9xxxx series. They all
do the same thing. Even mplayer with the -vo xvmc will do it too. I'm
running Xorg 7.3 (1.3.0)

Anything I can try here? Change Xorg version? tweaks/hacks/other nvidia
drivers to try?
