[mythtv-users] Mini ITX motherboard choice

For what it's worth, I'm using a VIA VB7001G (in a Morex 2699B case) for a
Myth system, and it works beautifully (it has a fan system, but if you get
the power supply voltage right, it's reasonably quiet, and I haven't had any
cooling problems). I haven't tried multi-channel sound out, but I would
think you could control it with ALSA; at least all the "hooks" seem to be
there.

I used MythDora, and it's been a while since I installed it, but I don't
recall any difficulties. Here's a link I used to get the VIA Unichrome
setup for TV-Out:

Another question about Via Mainboards.
Can you manage the audio properly?
I have a Creative 4.1 system and I wish to use it with my new MythTV box.
Can you manage all the channels of the audio onboard or it is a
problem with Linux?
