Thanks, that did it.
Ive been sitting on this for a couple of weeks as I didnt want to completely
reinstall the machine (tho it wouldn't have taken that long).
The /var/log/messages message pointed me at the problem.
SOMEHOW, I had put the /tftpboot/linux-install/pxelinux.0 file over 
under /diskless/i386/fedora6/root/tftpboot ... rather than where it
belonged.  

Now to get back to final testing and getting this thing in the living room.
