[mythtv-users] Splitting combined FE/BE confusion

I currently have a combined frontend/backend (latest svn) and have now
installed a server that I would like to operate as a master backend
and db server.

I would like to keep the existing backend as a slave, but integrate
the database, so I believe that I need to

* move the database over to the master backend
* point the slave backend at the same db as the master backend

Is this right?

But what should I do with the recording files? Should I move those
over with the database, or can they stay on the slave backend? Should
I use storage groups?

Am somewhat confused.
